CENTRIFUGED AND POLISHED
The press liquid generated from the fish meal process passes through a decanter to remove most of the sludge. Oil is separated from the liquid by a centrifuge, then polished and refined to remove any remaining water and impurities. Prior to storage an antioxidant is added. Antioxidant stabilizes the oil, avoiding damage because of oxidation.
